  1. Prepare 800 grams of ripe red plums, pits removed.
  2. Prepare 450 grams of white sugar.
  3. Prepare 40 grams of brown sugar.
  4. You need 1 of juice of one lemon.

  1. cut plums in little pieces.

  5. when it begins to boil lower the heat and let cook for 20 minutes stirring occasionally.
  6. test the tickness putting a teaspoon of the mix in a cold plate and waiting 1 minute. If it remains liquid let cook 5 minutes more then recheck.
  7. beware not to do it too tick!.
  8. let it cool in glass jar and put in the fridge to you consume it in a pair of weeks.
  9. if you want, pasteourizate the jars to preserve the jam up to one year.
